This program serves breakfast Monday through Friday and hot dinner on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.   All meals are cooked on premises; our staff cooks prepare hearty balanced meals with wholesome ingredients.   Beyond providing nutritious food, the program offers participants a chance to sit, eat, and socialize in a relaxing, safe, friendly atmosphere that offers a retreat from the tension of being homeless or living in poverty.  In FY 11, 81,454 meals were provided through the Hot Meal Program, a 7% increase from FY 10.  Breakfast is served Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and dinner is served every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

FY11 Goal:  Provide at least 83,380 meals, a 10% increase over last year, and turn no one away hungry.

Outcome:  90,774 meals served—8% over goal—and no one was turned away hungry.

New Goal for FY12:  Provide at least 85,000 meals
